As someone who self-identifies as a whole foody, I found myself always turning to packaged protein bars when I was on the go and in need to an extra protein boost. 

This prompted me to make my own protein bars!! So many of the ones on the shelf are filled with crappy additives and preservatives, they almost always gave me a tummy ache and left me feeling sub par later in the day.

These are some of the TASTIEST treats I've ever made. Before you continue reading you should know that these are deep fried and not super healthy!!! They are however, very good on the blood sugar levels and will not give you a crazy spike like most store bought pakoras.

These are great if you're having company over or if you just want to treat yourself with something delicious and cheap!
